路易斯 阿姆斯特朗，从1901年8月4日出生于新奥尔良到1971年心脏衰竭逝世为止的七十年岁月里留下无数的录音专辑。美国爵士乐音乐家阿姆斯特朗是20世纪最著名的爵士乐音乐家之一。他以超凡的个人魅力和不断的创新，将爵士乐从新奥尔良地区带向全世界，变成广受大众欢迎的音乐形式。阿姆斯特朗早年以演奏小号成名，后来他以独特的沙哑嗓音成为爵士歌手中的佼佼者。路易斯 阿姆斯壮这位爵士巨人，也是摇滚先驱者的作品一再被后人重新出版，于是他的知名度历久不衰。
